THE ISSUES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TURKMEN-KAZAKH INTERACTION WERE DISCUSSED IN ASHGABAT
On December 20 2021, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, who arrived to Turkmen capital on a working visit.
During the constructive talk the parties considered a broad range of cooperation issues between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields.
The sides underlined that bilateral and multilateral interaction of the parties in the past few years has acquired new quality and content. Regular character of the top meetings that contribute to deepening of traditionally friendly relations in all the fields of mutual interest was noted.
In this connection, interest in further expanding contacts in the field of trade, agriculture and environment protection, education and science, information and technological exchange, as well as other perspective directions was expressed.
Within the framework of the meeting, taking into account the enormous potential of the two countries, the special accent was made on the development of cooperation in fuel-energy sphere, in the field of the industry, transport and communications, particularly in expansion of international and regional road, railroad and sea transportation with the active involvement of state and private sectors of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
S. Berdimuhamedov and R. Sklyar also paid special attention to the activation of contacts on cultural-humanitarian sphere which acts as a priority area of Turkmen-Kazakh interaction.
